ACCUPASS / KKTIX

Before we entered college, we were repetitively told that schoolwork, romance, and club activities are the three "credits" ones must take in their college lives. However, these all happen on campus. I believe to a university student, what we do off campus contributes to who we are equally as much as what we've learned on campus. For people who desire a light backpacking experience, SocICE will start an introduction series about bus/train routes in the near future. And for those eager learners, today's post is all about you.

ACCUPASS and KKTIX, a friend of mine recommended these two forum platform websites to me a few days ago. The websites include speeches, workshops, conferences, concerts, musicals, etc. that take place in Taiwan. Whether it's in northern Taiwan or southern, free or not, you can find it all in this one platform.

Let's start with ACCUPASS.

First you can scroll down to the bottom of the page to change the language setting.

Then click on "More Events" circled in Box #1. You'll see your page become like Box #2. To know the details of each event, just click its picture (for example, like Box #3.) And it will lead you to what you want to know.

Next we have, KKTIX.
The language setting is also at the bottom of the homepage.
KKTIX seems to me more packed with entertainment events like musicals or concerts. Nonetheless, you can still find other sorts of activities by clicking whatever category you fancy. This section is around in the middle of the homepage. You can see the scrollbar I captured for you to know its approximate location (shown as down below.)

Last but not least, be not afraid of the Mandarin details it presents. Go grab some local to ask or make good use of Google Translate. It's university. Not now, then when?
